Summary/Abstract: This study aims to determine the perceptions of Religious Culture and Ethics Knowledge (RCEK) teachers in Turkey regarding their competence in equipping students with 21st-century skills and to analyze these perceptions in terms of various variables. Designed according to a relational survey model, the research was conducted with the participation of 885 RCEK teachers Turkey's Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics (NUTS) Level 1 regions during the 2023-2024 academic year. Data were collected using a personal information form and the "Perceptions of Teachers' Competence Scale for Bringing 21st Century Skills". For data analysis, t-tests and one-way analysis of variance were used, while Scheffe and Tamhane's T2 tests were applied to identify intergroup differences. The results revealed that RCEK teachers generally have a high perception of competence in bringing 21st-century skills. It was determined that the participants' perceptions of efficacy did not show a statistically significant difference based on variables such as gender, educational status, and the educational level at which they teach. In contrast, significant differences were found in perceptions of competence based on professional seniority, participation in training on 21st-century skills, the technological infrastructure of the schools, evaluations of the RCEK curriculum's adequacy, and views on the role of religious education in fostering these skills. These findings indicate that teachers' perceptions of competence are shaped more by their professional experience, the technological capabilities of their schools, and their views on the role of religious education in imparting these skills than by certain demographic variables such as gender and the level of education at which they teach.
