Summary/Abstract: The Catholic Church possesses the attribute of autonomy, which constitutes a fundamental regulatory area for state-church relations. In the area of sexual crime prevention, the fundamental question arises: the potential for monitoring the implementation of sexual crime prevention obligations by legal entities of the Catholic Church in accordance with state-church relations. This article analyses the competences, mechanisms, and legal interdependencies. It contributes to reflection on the coexistence of freedoms and human rights.
