Waste Recycling Logistics Using the Example of Processing and Utilisation of the Disused Lead-Acid Batteries

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to present assumptions about the state of the legal and organizational management of disused automotive lead acid batteries with a special focus on the logistical and ecological aspects of the issue. It shows how the topic fits into the foundation of the environmental policy of the European Union and the Poland, and particularly the provisions relating to a closed economy and the state minimizing the amount of waste that is not undergoing reuse. The research part presents the analysis of enterprises implementing processes for resource recovery from the disused batteries.
