Summary/Abstract: The memorial heritage of genocides is reflected in visual artworks, which distinguish four levels in relation to the creative evolution of the past century. First, the levels of documentary and realist representation can be distinguished, alongside the enormous wave of artworks. The second session is the path of works and creative developments realised through abstraction and symbolic form. The third trend is the monumentalist direction, primarily of public artworks and memorial sites. The fourth trend is the arthistorical development path of conceptual and critical creative movements
