Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to explore the close relationship between narrative identity and reflective thinking, with a particular focus on their practical applications in the field of education and philosophy of education. Its central thesis is that the mutually reinforcing processes of narrative identity and reflective thinking not only support individual development, but also lay the foundations for social responsibility and critical thinking. This is particularly relevant in today's world, where education and community collaboration are growing in importance on an unprecedented scale. By synthesising the theories of different philosophical schools (Paul Ricoeur, John Dewey, Alasdair MacIntyre and Jerome Bruner), this paper shows that narratives and reflective thinking are not just theoretical concepts but essential tools for human development and social innovation.
