Summary/Abstract: The article examines Polish discourse on the Italo-Ethiopian War (1935-1936) from a postcolonial perspective. Drawing on the press, opinion pieces, and archival materials, it identifies a dual structure: solidarity narratives rooted in the memory of the partitions, alongside arguments legitimising Polish colonial ambitions (the Maritime and Colonial League, "Polonia-Italia"). This picture is juxtaposed with the global Hands Off Ethiopia movement. The study also surveys extra-discursive responses: demonstrations, fundraising, letter campaigns, and attempts to volunteer as fighters or medical staff.
