Summary/Abstract: This paper analyzes the visual poem “007. TERRORISTEN, HA” by Ljubomir Stefanović (1950– 2016) from the collection Umnožena pjesan (1979) in the context of the poetics of the rupture as one of the fundamental features of contemporary culture and visual literature. Drawing on theoretical insights into the fragmentation of time, the destabilization of the subject, and the intermedial encounter of different semiotic systems, the paper examines how meaning in visual poetry is constructed through the relationship between image, language, and the graphic structure of the text. Particular attention is devoted to the visual organization of the page, the fragmentation of language, and the transformation of the lyrical subject whose identity becomes unstable within a network of visual and discursive signs. The analysis demonstrates how the graphic and textual elements of the visual poem create a complex structure in which meaning emerges through the tension between the visible and the invisible, between image and word, and between moment and process. In this context, visual poetry can be understood as an intermedial form of artistic expression that articulates, in a particularly clear way, the transformations characteristic of the contemporary cultural paradigm.
