Summary/Abstract: Computer simulation is an excellent tool for the analysis of complex processes. It can be used in situations where the available analytical methods cannot be implemented. The article addresses the possibility of using FlexSim 3D discrete event simulation software in verification of current assumptions regarding the evacuation plan the building of the Elementary School named after St. Kinga in Podstolice, Wieliczka. The aim of the research was to prove the possibility of evacuating people staying in the facility in a given time.
