Summary/Abstract: The work presents two generations of logistics based on traditional concepts of physical flows and modern ones offering additional, perimological values for the client. The latter model is now the classic of logistic companies, which thus gain a competitive advantage over the market. Both concepts were illustrated by two examples from the area of military pralogistics regarding logistic security of two further wars in the Persian Gulf - "Desert Storm" (1991 and "Freedom for Iraq" (2003). In conclusion, the dominant role of on-line logistics standards was indicated. line based on modern internet technologies.
