Rhetoric at school in relation to classical education

Summary/Abstract: The author of the paper tries to define classical education from a historical and contemporary perspective and propose a form of the presence of classical rhetoric in today’s schools. He does not see the place of rhetoric in making it another subject that consumes students’ and teachers’ time. Rather, the point is for the Polish school to gradually rise to a higher level of the culture of the living word.
