Summary/Abstract: This article examines the theological and spiritual value of liturgical music in Orthodox Divine Worship, considering Orthodox liturgical chant not merely as an artistic or aesthetic expression but as a theological reality intrinsically linked to prayer, the proclamation of faith, and the glorification of God. Employing a theological-hermeneutical approach, the study explores the biblical foundations of sacred singing, its development in the patristic tradition, and its interpretation within classical and modern philosophical thought. The analysis demonstrates that liturgical chant fulfills essential theological, liturgical, ecclesial, and soteriological functions, serving as a means of transmitting the faith, fostering ecclesial communion, and expressing the Church's living prayer. The study concludes that throughout the history of Christianity, liturgical music has remained an indispensable element of Orthodox worship, integrating theological truth, spiritual experience, and communal participation into a unified act of praise directed toward God.
