Summary/Abstract: This article develops a conceptual framework that captures how contemporary political and economic structures inscribe their requirements directly into the bodies of workers, consumers, and citizens. The starting thesis is that ideology under late capitalism has ceased to be primarily a matter of consciousness and has become a matter of somatics: it does not persuade, it tires, thins, raises pulse rates, reduces sleep, and amplifies the intensity of back pain. From this diagnosis emerges the article's original contribution — a triadic model of somatic ideological inscription, which differentiates three complementary modes of inscription (disciplinary, affective, and performative) and three corresponding forms of bodily resistance. Disciplinary inscription operates through labor processes, ergonomic regimes, and institutional time arrangements; affective inscription operates through the production of anxiety, burnout, and cruel optimism; performative inscription operates through self-quantification, fitness applications, and the aesthetic norms of platform culture. The methodological approach is mixed: it combines a conceptual synthesis of classical and contemporary theoretical frameworks of biopolitics, affect theory, and cultural studies with a secondary analysis of empirical findings from institutional sources — Eurofound, the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work, the World Health Organization, and Gallup. The principal finding is that bodily resistance in each mode encounters its own mechanism of co-optation, which renders the practice of resistance simultaneously possible and necessarily asymmetrical. The article concludes that the analytical advantage of the triadic model lies in enabling the researcher to locate any contemporary somatic phenomenon — from chronic back pain to anxiety — within a triangular field and to identify the corresponding plane of critical intervention.
