Socialization as a Necessity in the Archaeological Heritage of the Country

Summary/Abstract: The author will attempt to examine systematically one of the main steps in the study, documentation and public presentation of cultural and historical sites. The socialization of the cultural and historical heritage is an often neglected step in the creation of quality tourist products in the country. The paper examines the stages of achieving socialization of cultural heritage based on the example of the Ancient Plovdiv Municipal Institute – one of the best-socialized objects on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, and the author will examine the history of the site and propose improvements with a view to developing a successful tourism product.
