The process of applying Edmund Bojanowski’s pedagogical thought in contemporary education in Poland and around the world – the effect of the synergy of pedagogical theory and practice

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to show the course and scope of the process of making available and implementing theoretical foundations and methodological materials according to the pedagogical concept of Edmund Bojanowski in modern education in Poland and around the world. It covers scientific research within the framework of individual and team research tasks and projects carried out since 2013 at the Institute of Pedagogy of the John Paul II Catholic University under the direction of Sr. Dr. Maria Opiela, Prof. of the Catholic University of Lublin, also in interdisciplinary research teams. The range of interest and impact of product applications resulting from scientific research and development work is international. This is the result of creative cooperation and synergy of pedagogical theory and practice, which confirms the importance of the impact of scientific activity on the functioning of society. In the process of making available and implementing the theoretical foundations and methodological materials in the concept of E. Bojanowski in pedagogical practice in Poland and around the world, three stages can be distinguished, as presented in the article. The actual impact and its extent was described and illustrated with data on the basis of the preserved documentation of the transfer of research products and the statistics of displays and downloads of the made available publications. In conclusion, the necessity of continuing scientific research in mutual creative cooperation of pedagogical theory and practice was pointed out.
