Responsible social education in schooling

Summary/Abstract: Responsible social education can be seen as an urgent need of the times in which we live, and at the same time as part of the integral education due to every human being. As a component of moral education, it should be incorporated into the education system in force in every school, as well as take into account the specificity of sociomoral development of children and adolescents and constantly undervalued and marginalized teaching and moral and religious education. The publication signals the importance and significance of the topic undertaken in the context of the fundamental goals, functions, and tasks of the school, the established core curriculum, responsible participation and citizenship, the creation of a dynamic and value-based structure of the education program, as well as the basic tasks, characteristics and responsibilities of the teacher. The whole article ends with conclusions of a general and applied nature.
