Summary/Abstract: The article presents the applicability of the diagnostic tool entitled Profile of Emotional and Social Development (Profil Rozwoju Emocjonalnego i Społecznego, PREiS) in the functional assessments conducted by teachers at school. The revised abbreviated version consists of 33 statements and can be used by both teachers and parents, allowing for a multi-contextual assessment of student functioning in six aspects: coping strategies, coping with being assessed, social relationships, emotional competence, antisocial behaviour, and self-image. In addition, the preparation of a version of the tool in Ukrainian allows teachers to obtain information about the potential resilience resources of Ukrainian students learning in schools in Poland.
