Summary/Abstract: In Bulgaria, efforts to support and ensure a fulfilling life for children and youth with specific diseases, deficits and difficulties are still insufficient. It is necessary to search and implement effective models for informing society about the state of children's health, for training and self-education of children and young people, families, people around them, educational institutions and their employees, in order to avoid the isolation of those children or youngsters and the immersion of already existing problems. A significant contribution to the discovery of possible good solutions can come through initiatives and programs to create educational films and audiovisual thematic content, e.g., short audiovisual forms (clips) to inform and educate everyone from the child and parents, to his assistants, educators, teachers or classmates. Such practices are well known in the world, but they still do not find sustainable institutional support in our country.
