Summary/Abstract: Art therapy, originally a psychotherapeutic method focused on emotional healing, has been gradually integrated into the school setting as an educational tool with the potential to benefit students’ intellectual development. The literature indicates that the learning process cannot be separated from its affective dimensions, and that reading is correlated with the development of social-emotional skills. In this study, I aim to analyze the theoretical foundations of art therapy, its contributions to emotional development, the mechanisms through which it stimulates interest in reading, and the applicability of these methods in the educational process, transforming it into a personalized experience.
