Summary/Abstract: This article aims is to present the process of development and potential applications of the Didactic Bingo evaluation tool, designed to support teaching practices in higher education. The paper discusses the challenges related to assessing the teaching performance of university instructors, as well as the limitations of existing evaluation methods and tools. It then outlines the stages of developing the tool: a review of the literature and existing solutions, a linguistic analysis of the items, an online study involving academic teachers (N=67) and students (N=97), and the development of indicators identifying practices valued by both groups. The result of these efforts is a tool that enables the active monitoring of good teaching practices during classes. Didactic Bingo serves a dual function: it provides a source of evaluation data and fosters reflection on the teaching and learning process. The conclusion highlights the ways in which the tool can be used, as well as its potential and limitations, in building a culture of evaluation and promoting effective teaching practices in higher education.
