Application of Creative Teaching Techniques in Solfeggio Classes

Summary/Abstract: The paper explores the development of creative and musical thinking within solfeggio instruction, treating creativity as an essential human potential. The primary objective is to evaluate the implementation and outcomes of applied creative teaching techniques. The research combines theoretical literature analysis with a qualitative empirical approach. Data was gathered through participant observation, classroom process analysis, and the evaluation of student attitudes. The results confirm the high potential of solfeggio to stimulate and develop creative thinking, as well as to facilitate the acquisition and contextualization of musical knowledge and skills. Furthermore, creative teaching techniques enhance interactional skills alongside the interpersonal, social, and professional competencies of both students and instructors. The author’s self-assessment indicates a transformation in the teacher’s role, shifting toward that of a moderator, facilitator, and active participant who cultivates a stimulating and permissive educational environment.
