Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to analyze the election programs for the 2024 European Parliament elections in the areas of energy policy and climate protection in the European Union of the main political parties in Germany: CDU and CSU, Alliance '90/The Greens, SPD, Alternative for Germany (AfD), the Left, FDP, and the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance - Reason and Justice (BSW). The author, presenting the positions and electoral demands of political parties, seeks answers to questions about the place of these two thematic areas in the election programs, references to challenges in the area of the EU energy policy and climate protection, especially the European Green Deal, and plans for slight modifications or complete changes in the EU energy policy and climate protection.
