Summary/Abstract: This paper links contemporary school education to the warnings in Huxley’s Brave New World. It shows how classrooms—where pupils collect context-free academic facts, sit endless standardized tests, and experience grades as badges of shame or prestige while fear of a „failing mark“ replaces Pavlovian electric shocks—closely resemble Huxley’s instruments for shaping compliant, pleasure-seeking, challenge-averse citizens. Coupled with the moral erosion described by Joseph Unwin and KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov, such schooling breeds learned helplessness and leaves young people with no clear purpose.
