Summary/Abstract: The subject of the research is the impact of the purchase of military equipment for the Polish Armed Forces on the military logistics system, resulting from the need for technical modernization of the Polish Armed Forces. The aim of the research is to examine, verify, and evaluate the functioning of the military logistics system in terms of acquiring modern combat systems and their impact on the implementation of tasks by the functional subsystems of the logistics system. The authors adopted a research hypothesis assuming that the purchase of new military equipment and its introduction to the equipment of military units will constitute a significant challenge for the military logistics system. The conducted research shows that in the perspective of 2035, the burden on the logistics system will concern in particular the functional subsystems: military infrastructure, technical, material, and training of logistics personnel. In the presented study, the authors indicate challenges and threats that may delay or disrupt the process of adapting the military logistics system to the increased number of equipment introduced to the army’s equipment.
