Quality Seal? The Presence of Paratexts in Contemporary Polish Literature on Jewish Themes

Summary/Abstract: This article seeks to trace the ways in which contemporary Polish writers employ paratexts in works addressing Jewish subject matters. The analysis focuses on such elements as prefaces, afterwords, bibliographies, as well as acknowledgements, dedications, and iconographic materials included in published books. The article discusses paratexts appearing both in non-fictional literature (including reportage and memoirs) and in literary prose published between 2001 and 2025.
