Summary/Abstract: Currently, modern didactics is based combines traditional and modern activities, pointing out those characteristics that are specific to each strategy. Modern strategies in the didactic assessment at History form an area of research which is open to permanent improvement. While these strategies are much more difficult to accomplish, because they require preparatory acts, which extend for a long period of time and also, a comprehensive basis in the field of didactic means, used by the History teacher in his work, they allow to evaluate aspects neglected by the traditional assessment methods and motivate better the students, bringing thus added value to the teaching of history.
