Summary/Abstract: The “silent revolution in sculpture” is a study aimed at both history and art. The goal is to get into this so-used by historians expression, to present a process. A process running parallel to the lives of people, with their growth. To show how a seemingly fixed progress in history is in fact a result of multiple attempts, successes and downs. Most of all, to show how an industrial revolution, which has gradually begun to impose life in people in one form or another, has also played an important role in the development of art. The materials that are created give the necessary freedom not only in thinking but also in the realization of modern sculpture. “The Quiet Revolution,” is not only a revolution in art, is a revolution in consciousness.
