Summary/Abstract: The first issue of the Magazine opens (it is real, slightly delayed) the year 2026, a year that has proven challenging for the justice system, for Romania, and for the entire global context. Even so, there was room for celebration within the sphere of those who actively participate in the enforcement phase. On Friday, 15 May 2026, the National Union of Judicial Enforcement Officers (UNEJ) organized in Bucharest the Anniversary Congress dedicated to marking 25 years since the transformation of the profession of judicial enforcement officer into a liberal profession — a moment described as a landmark for strengthening the rule of law and for modernizing Romania’s enforcement system, according to a statement from the Union’s leadership.
