Summary/Abstract: The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), proposed by the Chinese government in 2013, aims to promote investment and cooperation with more than 150 countries and international organizations across Asia, Europe, and Africa. As a major global development strategy of China, the BRI is not merely an aid program, but a strategic pathway designed to enhance mutual understanding, foster win–win cooperation, and achieve common development and prosperity. From a globalization perspective, the BRI represents an exploration of new models of connectivity in the era of information and technology. This report focuses on analyzing the main framework and development prospects of the BRI in the Central and Eastern European Countries (CEECs) and broader China – Europe cooperation. It reviews several key projects and proposes recommendations for further deepening collaboration. The study argues that such connectivity is not a simple linear linkage, but rather a comprehensive system encompassing policy coordination, infrastructure development, financial integration, and people-to-people exchanges.
