Summary/Abstract: The need to incorporate authentic materials into foreign language teaching and learning has attracted growing attention. Authenticity is now widely recognized as a pivotal factor in the effectiveness of foreign and second language instruction. Drawing on HSK Standard Courses as the primary corpus, this study examines dimensions of authenticity, including textual authenticity, the authenticity of instructional goals and tasks, and the authenticity of classroom contexts, along with their modes of realization. The analysis aims to illuminate how authenticity can be effectively integrated into pedagogical practice to maximize teaching and learning outcomes.
