Summary/Abstract: The article presents the Chinese model of education aimed at developing a powerful nation and analyzes the plan “Basic Guidelines for Building a Strong Nation through Education” (2024 – 2035). The plan covers educational policies for the new model of moral education and for cultivating new talents for the era; strengthening and improving basic education; building a modern vocational education system; establishing a learning society; opening new paths for development and creating new opportunities through the digitalization of education; and building and preserving a high-quality, professional teaching team. Normative and educational parallels in the Bulgarian education system are examined.
