Summary/Abstract: This article examines the degree of integration of competences in foreign language teaching on the basis of a survey conducted among foreign language teachers (5th – 10th grade) throughout the country. The analysis of the results shows an aspiration to plan and implement lessons of an interdisciplinary nature, creating interdisciplinary links in sync with the existing foreign language curricula.
