Summary/Abstract: This article briefly examines the main forms of legal liability in the case of a public servant breaching their job duties, i.e.: administrative liability, disciplinary liability, civil and patrimonial liability of the public servant, the conditions of entailing each form of legal liability and the principles based on which they operate. All the forms of legal liability have in common the principle of legality of prosecution and the principle of legality of sanctions.
