Summary/Abstract: The authors analyse the relationship between the height of the employee and her (his) remuneration in the Polish labour market. They present a review of the literature suggesting the possibility of the existence of such a relationship on the theoretical grounds and the examples of empirical research confirming the occurrence of such a dependence in many countries. However, there have been no publications about this relationship for Poland. The empirical examination presented in the article is based on various regression models estimated with data taken from “Social Diagnosis” – a survey conducted by the Council of Social Monitoring. The results obtained in the analysis confirm the existence of a positive relationship between the height of the employee and her (his) pay, especially among men in some selected occupations.
