Summary/Abstract: Digital storytelling has emerged as more than just a technological tool in museums—it is increasingly recognised as a spatially integrated, strategic narrative method. This study offers a comparative analysis of Türkiye’s pioneering digital experience museums, the Hagia Sophia and Ephesus Experience Museums (DEM), and the Casa Batlló 10D Experience in Spain, one of the leading examples of immersive digital storytelling. The main objective is to explore the impact of digital storytelling technologies on visitor experience, both conceptually and practically. The study employs a qualitative methodology, including literature review and document analysis, complemented by comparative case analysis. Web analytics tools are also used to evaluate the level of digital engagement. Both cases demonstrate how digital technologies such as augmented/virtual reality, projection, spatial sound, and audiovisual content can transform physical museum spaces into multisensory experiences. The paper argues that digital storytelling functions not only as a narrative tool but also as a transformative mechanism for accessibility and experience design in contemporary museology.
