Summary/Abstract: Metropolises and megalopolises are representing, at the beginning of XXIst century, the main points of a world network based on intensified and transnational exchanges, on infra-local connections; metropolises are truly new political actors, in full process of separating themselves from the state umbrella(juridically, politically, economically). The paper explores some futuristic trends in developments of such actors, and new geopolitical spaces created as effect of the new urban order, that will depict rather as “Urbanocene” the XXII century (theera of the urban global order). We introduce here new concepts regarding developments of such order, as the GGUN, the VAEs, the MFAE etc., illustrating,in our opinion, the profile of such new global order founded on non-state actors, the competences, their basic normative acts, their specific institutions and bodies.
