Summary/Abstract: The woke ideology has spilled over the walls of the American academic institutions, universities and their campuses in the 1990s, and infused the entire Western educated society. Moving towards the secondary and primary education, its ideals of abstract equality are now common facts, since the rank-and-file adepts have reached high positions in international corporations, mass-media, high-tech and the movie industry. Therefore, their racial, sexual and other cultural prejudices have become the norm. Despite the initial good intentions of fighting inequities, the woke adepts left behind real existing inequalities and found a refuge in fighting a large array of immaterial and subtle inequalities. Fueled by the literary studies programmes and the behavioral social sciences, the woke religion makes an effort towards subordinating nature to culture. The outcome is an irrational move to cancel culture, re-write history, deny science and the Illuminist ideals, and, by this, to endanger Western cultural heritage.
