Summary/Abstract: Based on several recent publications that attempt to examine post communist Romanian society, and analyzing two works that offer explanations regarding the cancellation of the presidential elections at the end of last year, this article aims to integrate these perspectives in order to provide a more nuanced understanding of the situation following December 2024.
