Noul secol american; Trump și trumpismul
The New American Century; Trump and Trumpism

Summary/Abstract: In the latest issue of the political science journal Polis, published in Iași, the editorial board decided to include contributions dedicated to the United States of America, with particular emphasis on the contemporary dynamics of Donald Trump’s presidency. The present text originates from a contribution previously delivered at the third edition of the International Conference organized by the Department of Political Science at the “Aldo Moro” University of Bari and the “Petre Andrei” University of Iași, held in Bari in October. Each year, the conference takes place alternately in Bari or Iași, and the studies presented are subsequently published in a special issue of Polis, a journal officially recognized in the field of political science by the Italian Ministry of Public Education.
