Summary/Abstract: The European-level approach to education shows that education at all levels is a fundamental pillar of European success. Moreover, in a constantly changing world, lifelong learning is increasingly becoming a necessity and a priority, being the key to employability, economic success and enabling citizens to fully participate in social life. Education-focused universities usually offer vocational training programs. In Western European countries, this mission is usually carried out by university colleges, which can constitute a smaller academic environment, sometimes of around 1000 students. In recent decades, due to the need to diversify educational services, it also offers continuous training programs.
