Summary/Abstract: Under the title: Text, Textile, Context: Interdisciplinary Colloquium, it took place in June 2025 at the Institute of Czech Literature of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. The conference, co-organized by the Institute of Art History of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and the Faculty of Humanities of Charles University, lasted 3 days and included over 30 contributions mapping the economic and social functions of textile works and their literary and artistic depiction from antiquity to the present day.
