Summary/Abstract: After almost two decades since the integration of our country in European Union, we wonder if Romania got to reduce the gap compared to the other member states of the EU, for a sustainable development and a better life of its citizens. So we realized a dynamic analysis of some statistical indicators like: GDP per capita, Gross Valued Added, gross consolidated government debt, total general government expenditure and revenue, inflation rate and indicators regarding the sustenaible development objectives. Our conclusions show that there are some domains in wich Romania has a good position among the member states, overcoming the EU's level, but there are still some domains in wich the gap is still significant.
