Summary/Abstract: Romania is at the top of the countries that have notified the ECHR regarding the violation of human rights. Most of them concern large groups of repetitive cases, among which are those regarding the violation of property rights, the non-execution or late execution of court decisions, the excessive duration of judicial procedures, conditions of detention, the situation of human rights in Romania has registered a noteworthy evolution in recent years, both in terms of the elaboration and adoption of new projects of normative acts and in terms of the practical transposition of the legal provisions in force.
