INDEX OF THE DIGITAL ECONOMY AND SOCIETY (DESI) AT ENTERPRISE LEVEL

Summary/Abstract: Digitalization has been identified as the most significant technological trend that is changing both society and business. Demographic changes, globalization, and new technologies are altering the nature of work and people's lives. The purpose of this research is to assess the current state of the digital economy's performance at an European level, while also highlighting the efforts undertaken by the 27 states of the EU to monitor progress, as well as the major differences in the digital economy at the level of European Union states. The analysis covers the 27 member states of the European Union and, depending on data availability, the United Kingdom, Norway, and Switzerland, for the period 2020-2022.
