4. Considerations regarding the lack of presentation at maturity and of drawing the protest in relation to the rights of the promissory note issuer and of his promissory note guarantor

Summary/Abstract: The present study discusses the defenses allowed to be made by the issuer of a promissory note, as required by this title’s main bills, by specific texts relating to the bill and pulled accepted expressly provided by Law no. 58/1934 and Rule no. 6/1994. They also highlighted the defenses that may be made by the issuer of the promissory note guarantor, as the direct obligation under that title, the detailed issues that relate to the bills at maturity securities, drawing protest and solidarity borrowers bills.
