THE EMOTIONAL DYNAMICS OF THE GROUP IN THE PROCESS OF STAGE PERFORMANCE. I TOO AM LITTLE PRINCE (after A. de Saint-Exupery on W.A. Mozart’s music)

Summary/Abstract: For young lyrical artists, initiation into the art of acting is fundamental. Coming from various social backgrounds, with extremely different skills and knowledge, the vast majority of them without stage experience, the first-year students of the Singing and Musical Performance Arts represent an atypical heterogeneous formation, with a multitude of goals and motivations. Thus, the projects designed for them must be adapted to the needs of each generation. The idea of the performance I too am the Little Prince was born, first of all, from psycho-pedagogical needs: the formation of an artistic team that communicates and interacts without inhibitions, the development of stage attention and empathy towards the other, and most importantly, the awareness of young people to the real values of beauty and goodness. I considered, from the start, that A. de Saint Exupery's The Little Prince and Mozart's Requiem represent the perfect "reading" that could solve many of these problems. Going by the idea of implementing some solutions to the previously mentioned problems, we created a show-study group that would generate the applicability of the following aims: control and directioning of emotion; contouring the character with the help of the performer's emotion; the exploitation of detail as a triggering factor of stage emotion; creative group processes as a vector for releasing the emotional message.
