Summary/Abstract: Music can create the support of a therapy - music therapy - and is used successfully in the case of people with special needs. Music therapy does not lead to the healing of defects or the elimination of deficiencies, but it can lead to positive changes at the level of abilities and behaviors, and this makes the incapacity less visible, contributing to the hope of socialization and the triggering of cathartic states.
