HERE AND NOW” A NEW MEDIA SPECTACLE –INTERVIEW WITH THE COMPOSER ADRIAN BORZA

Summary/Abstract: Composer with multiple concerns in the field of electronic music representation, Adrian Borza is today one of the most important composers of the Romanian composition school, writing memorable works in various directions: from acousmatic music to interactive music from cinéma pour l'oreille to multimedia performance, from image sound morphogenesis to music for therapy, from solo instrumental genres to the symphonic genre. Fruits of a continuous research in the field of the communicational triad composition - programming - interpretation the show Here and now, is constituted as a new direction in what the author defines as New Media Art, a show that brings together several levels of interpretation of meanings: dance technology and electronic music created with the help of the computer, a complex visual creation made through video projection, scenography and interactive light design. The interview conducted after the performance is intended to reveal to the reader some of the creative intentions as well as some of the "secrets" of the performance of this spectacle.
