Summary/Abstract: The article mentions the procedures for stylizing the elements of the human figure applied in the fashion illustration. To ilustrate the design of clothing, the artist purposefully ignores the real proportions of the human body with the goal of achieving an idealised image by using the methods of diminishing the muscular mass or increasing the size of some body parts. In the fashion illustration, the designer often is gives importance to the silluette of the human figure, without taking into consideration the details, or the particular anatomical elements.
