Summary/Abstract: This review discusses a four-language phraseological dictionary published in 2025 and evaluates its practical applicability. The publication is presented as a continuation of the Danish paremiographic tradition, set against the backdrop of previously published multilingual collections of proverbs in the 1506–2025 period. The reviewed volume consists of a preface, a lexicographical section, and a list of sources. The publication is presented in accordance with lexicographical criteria. The macrostructural and microstructural characteristics of the dictionary are examined. The macrostructure of the dictionary comprises entries of various categories: Danish proverbs, phraseological units, and single-word idioms. The modestly designed microstructural section includes definitions of the Danish entries, Polish, German, and English equivalents, typographical devices to distinguish the languages, and illustrations of selected phraseological units. The drawings visualise the elements of their literal meaning. The appendix of the dictionary consists solely of a list of sources; there is no index of headwords, which would facilitate access to any phraseological unit inone of the four languages. The dictionary is an example of a popular collection of phraseological units in four languages. Due to inconsistencies in the design of the macrostructure and the lack of lexicographical characteristics in the microstructure, its practical value is limited.
