Summary/Abstract: Social media platforms have become important tools in political communication and political marketing activities. Among these platforms, Instagram allows political leaders to communicate with voters and reflect their digital identities. The purpose of this study is to examine the elements used by political leaders in their Instagram biographies from the perspective of political marketing. In the study, document review and content analysis, which are qualitative research methods, were used. Within the scope of the research, the biography texts on the official Instagram accounts of political leaders were analyzed. Biographies have been evaluated in terms of title usage, emphasis on political identity, use of slogans, and use of emojis and symbols. The research findings show that leaders predominantly include title usage and emphasis on political identity in their biographies. On the other hand, no use of slogans, emojis, or symbols was observed. As a result, it has been seen that political leaders use Instagram biographies as a communication space reflecting their political identity.
